A few more brochures were delivered from the printer today. These are part of a series I wrapped up a few weeks ago, posted about a few days ago. I'm happy with the outcome, though I made a mistake...I specified a gloss aqueous coating over a spot. I've put gloss aqueous on an uncoated sheet before with great results. It's not exactly "glossy," bit it gives the ink a nice deep color and a good sheen. However, once in awhile the ink comes out mottled. I've determined this is the result of a single hit of a spot ink topped with aqueous. Anyplace where it's a CMYK build the ink looks fine. Lesson learned.
